Apple introduces Apple Home Collection, smart-home accessories designed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, on sale from December
Indoor and outdoor cameras, a thermostat, a temperature sensor, a video doorbell and a smart deadbolt, set up with one tap from iPhone with no separate app.

Apple has announced Apple Home Collection, a new lineup of smart-home accessories designed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric: indoor and outdoor cameras, a thermostat, a temperature sensor, a video doorbell and a smart door lock.
One tap, no new app
Accessories set up with a single tap from iPhone, similar to setting up a HomePod, and are managed in the Home app and with Siri, with no separate app or new account. All devices are end-to-end encrypted in Apple Home, so LG Electronics, Schneider Electric and Apple cannot access the data, and all support Thread to stay connected even if Wi-Fi drops, updating network details automatically if the user changes their Wi-Fi password.
Design and standards
Apple says the products share a simple, minimal design with premium materials and attention to installation and placement. Apple Home has long worked with third-party accessories through Works with Apple Home and Matter; Home Collection goes a step further by working closely with partners on a consistent experience. Matthew Costello, Apple's vice president of hardware engineering, said the collection makes choosing smart-home accessories easy and confident.
Availability
All products go on sale starting in December, with some accessories arriving from early 2027. Apple did not announce model names or prices in this release.
